Alix Baret has been working in the real estate debt sector for more than 17 years, including 10 years in origination in leading corporate banks followed by 7 years as a Fund Manager in French asset managers.
Alix joined Chenavari in July 2022. Prior to Chenavari, Alix was Head of Real Estate Debt at SCOR IP, which she joined in April 2019 as Senior Fund Manager.
Previously, Alix was a Real Estate Debt Fund Manager at Sienna Asset Management (formerly Acofi Gestion). From 2006 to 2015, within Eurohypo AG (Commerzbank group), she created, structured and implemented real estate loans for international clients and managed the restructuring of a debt portfolio of around 500 million euros.
Alix began her career in 2005 at Natexis as a Credit Analyst in the real estate structured finance front office team.
Alix holds a Master's degree in Banking, Finance and Insurance, and a Master II in Financial and Banking Techniques from the University of Paris II. Alix also followed the training in Real Estate Property Law and Lease Law from the Construction and Housing Institute (ICH).
